Dr. Ozturk is a member of ICON Lab and an Assoc. Prof. in the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering at Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University. His research interests are deep learning, computer vision, medical image analysis and content-based image retrieval.

His research focuses on vascular imaging and diagnostic analysis. His current work centers on developing foundation models and AI-assisted workflows to optimize clinical imaging pipelines.
